Fellow Eggers : I was watching a video on YouTube...& as I did, it occurred to me that there's one huge reason (among many..) why all of us
really love our plastic trailers so very much...& it has to do with "
planned obsolescence".
You see, in our world...for businesses to profit more, they have to sell more stuff...and in order to sell more stuff...most manufacturers build their products so that they will "wear out"...because if they didn't, they wouldn't sell as much stuff.
Our trailers obviously run counter to this philosophy...as proven by the fact that there are so many of them that have stood up to the test of time.
With this in mind, a question occurred to me today...& perhaps we should have an online award & a special place in the photo album reserved for the winner...
Who among us has the oldest
fiberglass trailer ?
Just curious (and proud !!)
Cheers, P.
