Cute, Mike. It's 300lb lighter than my Patriot, but no bathroom. I do like the furnace, though. I checked out the video on a dealer's website. I didn't realize these tow flat. Makes alot of sense. I couldn't imagine driving with the a frame up, but now I see why. You don't!

Donna, without a doubt there are tradeoffs. This particular Aliner has a porta potti but no shower, in fact no hot water heater. I'll have to heat water on the stove for washing dishes. It takes roughly 1 minute to set up, which isn't too bad for a lunch break, but for potti breaks I'll certainly default to B&M bathrooms when possible. There is less storage than in an egg, and it's all down low. And of course it has seams, so an owner must be more vigilant for leaks. The pluses are its low profile for extremely easy towing, an open-feeling interior, and a different kind of cuteness than that of the FG eggs. Oh, and the big factor for me... the price was within my budget.

Would I rather have an Escape? Yes! Among all the eggs, Escape is the one I'd really like to buy. But I haven't found one for $7K yet.

Before i got a _real trailer_ as Donna would call it

We had lots of fun off road adventures (our's had the off road options). The only thing we really couldn't see ourselves continuing to do is the up/down in our very unpredictable Pacific Northwest conditions. There was more than one occasion that we had to stay put because of unexpected winds exceeding a safe collapse of the roof.

PS. The "EASY" model had the full street side bath/shower, front dinette, rear queen, and curb side galley. It was actually quite a nice setup!
