I have two issues with Timmys:
1. Their donuts are premade offsite, then shipped in frozen, and 'baked' onsite. They aren't fresh made. (...not to digress, but same goes for Dunkin Donuts.... and Mrs Fields cookies get them in as frozen chubs of dough just like you'd buy in a store, and they just cut them off and bake them. ugh.)
2. The coffee cups don't have no-spill lids, just a flip over tab. Sorry, Timmy, I need to have a cuppa as I drive to work and I don't want to wear it!
Carol, Merci, je vais pratiquer à parler plus français, parce que je ne suis pas très bon.

OK, good to know, Francesca, you were driving me crazy I picked up a few words but nothing that made sense. Interesting, it seems to be a spanish/french hybrid (sprench?) with a mystery language thrown in (vulcan? fairy dust?)
Thanks for the laugh

You, sir, are good...
Sadly, that's all that I remember from the Foreign Language Portion of my private girls' school secondary education.
A little French, a little Latin- and don't forget the Spanish picked up from the taco shop on the corner by the school!
Education is a wonderful thing unless you're the parent that has to pay for it...
Francesca
P.S.
That 'nother post is "pig latin", still indecipherable to Google Translate and therefore the Code Language of Choice for terrorists everywhere!

While I drink their coffee, and my have a bagel as well, I have not eaten one of their donuts in many, many years. While I love baked stuff, I abhor their donuts.
Yeah, those are the worst designed lids out there, but I (almost) always use my own travel mug.

He about a little known fact? I checked my map and up here in the Great White I live at latitude 43.155. Same as Bullards Beach on the west coast. There are a lot of members south of the dotted line who actually live north of me. It's almost 50 F today and no snow to be seen.

Canadians love camp (vote for a trailer in every driveway)
Its above 0 today, tee shirt weather
Will move trailer to a safe indoor storage tomorrow will have to do a 3 hour drive to do it. (no crushed egg for us)
The largest local snow fall since moving to Owen Sound was 9' in 24 hours and we already had feet of snow on the ground at the time. You know you have had snow when you are taking it up off the roof!
P.S. my wife and I both made it to work the next morning even though it took 3 days to dig the cars out.
That said the boler is a light weight and rounded design meaning better on gas millage and in the north we have seen prices as high as $5.44 a us gallon after conversion this summer. Currently it is at $1.20 or $4.80 us gal
In Canada we may be light on people but not on distance.
Foot note: Tim's may not make the best coffee but we know it is not gut rot, price is OK so we get what we can count on.

Thought real beer was 6%

Charbucks? Tons of them. But to me, that really isn't good coffee, as it has all the goodness roasted out of it, though is not too bad if you like to dress it up with cream and sugar. (Other than a cappuccino, I drink coffee black) Those super dark roasts of theirs have just about removed any caffeine out of the coffee beans. And the price they charge, and seem to get away with, seems criminal. I can drink for a week for the price of one of their large coffees. Still, there are tons of folk who buy coffee from them.
Timmies is far from top notch too, just more palatable.
I have to admit to being a bit of a coffee snob though. I roast my own beans, trying lots of varieties from around the world, and trying many different roast profiles and levels with each bean. I also use a few different methods of extraction.
Can you tell? I just luvs my coffee.

Jim you are so right,
And Startbucks and Crispy cream donuts just to sweet.
It is like Pepsi vs Coke. Pepsi is better if you only want to taste test and Coke if you want the whole drink.
Still I prefer Canada Dry Gingerale with some 12 year CC
