Part of the problem is that RV's have been adding more and more technical things. So there is more opportunity for failure. Also, there is probably a vast difference between motorhomes and travel trailers. both are RVs, but the motorhome has many more systems to fail. Plus, a failure on a motorhome can leave you stranded if you are not towing an another vehicle with you. But ultimately, on a travel trailer, the systems are still very simple and able to be fixed by the experienced handyman! Although, the
refrigerator can perplex me sometimes. Just my opinion. I love my travel trailer. its a 97 model Fleetwood Prowler. 30 foot. And everything works! But I have fixed a few things myself through the years!
