In the RV world for over 30 years, starting out with a used pop-up that was actually well built and probably still on the road somewhere, the quality has went down, down, down.

What shocks me most is that people who purchase units that aren't right have come to accept that condition. So many times I have seen the same issues over a period of years and the manufacturers never rectify it but "fix" or not after the fact, sometimes under warranty and sometimes not. At least some of the FGRV manufacturers are equally guilty of doing this.

Excellent video.

LOL... Guess I deserved that. I am using the app on my phone, so linking is cumbersome... Actually I was hoping you would!

Part of the problem is that RV's have been adding more and more technical things. So there is more opportunity for failure. Also, there is probably a vast difference between motorhomes and travel trailers. both are RVs, but the motorhome has many more systems to fail. Plus, a failure on a motorhome can leave you stranded if you are not towing an another vehicle with you. But ultimately, on a travel trailer, the systems are still very simple and able to be fixed by the experienced handyman! Although, the refrigerator can perplex me sometimes. Just my opinion. I love my travel trailer. its a 97 model Fleetwood Prowler. 30 foot. And everything works! But I have fixed a few things myself through the years!
