Since the TV antenna is designed for a much lower frequency than those used for WiFi, I doubt it would provide any improvement.
WiFi Ranger offers some out-of-the-box solutions but expensive solutions. I went with a solution described at the
Outside Our Bubble website. They link to a YouTube video that does a set by step set of instructions for getting it up & running. I added a
12V POE power supply from Streakwave since the basic system is designed to operate on 120V AC. I use a
4' - 8' extendable paint roller handle from Lowe's to hold the outside radio.
