wildflower search

Headed up hwy 101 from Eureka toward Crescent City soon to photograph the wild tiger lilys that will probably be blooming. The wild rhodies finished blooming about two weeks ago so should be about time for the tiger lilys to be showing their beauty. They are very prolific in the redwoods and can be seen by the thousands along hwy 101. Hopefully they will be blooming when I get there next week. Many pull-outs to safely park to get out with camera equipment. I will travel on up the Oregon coast for a short distance and then may head east toward old hwy 99 or I-5 and come home via I-5 and hwy 3 to Trinity County. Beautiful part of our world and I am hoping the lilys will be in full bloom. Marg in NW CA

Can't wait till you post pics! Have a great trip. I was in Myrtle Creek, about 40 miles west of Roseville OR two weeks ago and the rhodies were spectacular
