An article from Debbie Lynn's blog:

Check out the info about tongue weights. 973 lbs... I'll pass. Even the new 21' Escape has an estimated tongue weight at about 380 lbs which is comp. to the 17' Casita....

If Carl had said it, being a man, there would be cause for doubt.

But since he was just quoting from elsewhere, I think we can trust it!

Holy smokes, a 920lb tongue weight?? There are people towing whole trailers that weigh that much. Interesting reading, though

Yep. Paul quoting Psalms in Romans.
So, it was said twice.

Yes, but that's far from the heaviest of travel trailers.

While there were trailers advertised at that weight, it is rarely achieved. Among our eggs, very few even have an axle weight as low as 920 pounds.

There are two trailers (other than the fifth-wheels) listed in http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...rld-43010.html which have higher tongue weight than that... yes, our "lightweight" moulded fiberglass travel trailers.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

Towing

You shouldn't have a problem. I am a bit slow on the hills, but it works well.
