Yes. I had been worried it would seem small; however, even though it has less bed surface area and inside height, it has more floor space than our Outfitter pop-up camper. I think the storage will be easier to access too. One great advantage will be permanent access to the contents just by opening the door. In the pop-up there is a lot of storage space inaccessible (under the big bed) when the top is down. Again with the floor space: There will be more room to maneuver myself when I'm storing or getting to items in those spaces with floor level doors, never mind someone being able to go past the chef at the stove. The Outfitter is great for the very tall because of that headroom. Even the upper cabinets are hard for me to reach when the top is up. Also, for me, the area farthest forward under the big bed is quite hard for me to reach, but would be easier for tall folks.
I've always liked trailer camping because of the ease of taking day trips with the tug. We switched to pop-up truck campers years ago for a variety of reasons I'd have think about for a while to remember (we didn't have or even know we would have a kid then). But with our daughter growing out of the seat/contraption her dad made in the back of the extended cab, we needed to come up with something that could carry her and probably a friend. Hence, the plan for an SUV or crew cab mini truck pulling a light
I will be curious to know if I get everything I have stored in the Outfitter into a 13' egg. But if I don't, I'll be happy to trim down "stuff."
Thanks for your help Donna.
