Winds howling, dust is blowing.....

So I decided to hide in my closet and take a picture of a flower from the grocery store.

No, it has absolutely nothing to do with an RV, just conquering boredom and brightening my day. (-:}

I agree, beautiful especially this morning because I awoke to a blizzard. Spring has pooped out on us here in central KS. We used to live in the desert and I would get up early in the morning to see the blooming cactus. Nothing compares to the beauty that nature creates!

I'm down in Midland Tx, we missed the blizzard but the front made it through last night and it's plenty cold. Spring is full in swing and I hope it didn't get cold enough to freeze anything. Pretty healthy cold front for this time of the year..

Just dreary here in west Michigan. No rain or snow. Temps in the 30s and we're hoping a lot more of our snow will disappear soon. Lots of piles where it was plowed up. For something to do, I just put a coat of Danish oil on the new table I made for our EggCamper. Nothing fancy. Just a little bigger.

I've been through Midland, TX a few times and wish I was there right now! We always liked passing through western TX. My brother still lives in SW MI where we grew up and I am sure I wouldn't be happy returning there since I swear, he is never happy about the weather. We have our eye on winters without snow and doing it full-time in a fiberglass egg. And, now, my son has opened the curtain on the big window to look at the snow! Got to close that back up!

I know how you feel. We're going to barely break 70 today and that incessant sunshine just wears on you!

Arlon, glad you are in the closet! This is an absolutely beautiful photo!
It would make a nice framed piece. Thanks!
Cold and an inch of sleet here...mountains of western VA.

About the same in Las Cruces, we had the howling wind & dust in the air yesterday as well as wind the day before. But nothing wet around here.

The front did drop it about 10 degrees, today's high 63*.....maybe not quite 10*.

Could have been worse with blowing snow, etc. Might of been near 28* this morning??? To be about the same tomorrow.

Kind of pretty today, clear skies, cool temps.....

Springtime in Southern New Mexico. More wind will on the way I'm sure.

I saw Denver was hard hit, maybe the Rio Grande Water Shed Area of Colorado got some good snow as well. Elephant Butte really needs some water for sure.

Nice photo by the way!

Thanks for the comments. Cut flowers have saved many a rainy or dreary day for me. They are fun to shoot.

A few more of them out HERE if anyone is interested.

Spring is in full force in Southern California. I'll add some more pictures when the deserts are in full bloom. These are some pics from a camp trip to the local mountains last weekend...

There were turkeys everywhere. Here are some turkey tracks in our campsite...
