Wink

We're in business again! Just got home with our new (to us) 1973 Trillium 1300- to see her arrival home go to :

Eloquent homecoming

As soon as I've got time to re-configure the picts , I'll have her in the avatar.

Ahhh, nothing is as exciting as making one of these babies your own- thanks to Ed Harris for all the help and for selling her to us.

She needs a bath and a good wax job after coming home from St. Louis in all the rain & wind , but she sure is Eloquent....

More pictures have been added to the album courtesy of Ed Harris - it was his shelving mod that sold me- I'm a sucker for being able to put things away!

HI ,
Glad to see you have a new trailer again- love that paint job too.

Doesn't look like she will give you trouble bottoming out going up the drive.

Yes- we had a 13' 1985 Casita for a few years, (front bath & king bed version) but we sold it in 2004 so Dale could concentrate on getting his MBA. He completed it this past January and I've been looking ever since then. Others tried to convince us that we should go for more bells & whistles. but been there & done that- we found things like bathrooms and water heaters were nice, but a lot more work! Since we have always stayed where there are restrooms & showers as well as electricity to run a hot pot we really don't need them.

Update-

Well, we've gotten the furnace and wooden cabinet out , and are getting ready to go buy a fridge. Wish I could get a line on the 2-way Norcold that's been discontinued this year-now it only comes as a 12v! Past experience showed that a 12 V doesn't really keep up with Michigan summers!

Dale totally removed, recaulked and re-installed the Fantastic fan today and is his face red! I guess the red gel coat reflects just as much sun as the white does

We've started the process of moving the electrical input to the street side of the rig, so I've been unscrambling wires, tracing circuits, etc. We plan to run only 12 V lighting but still have some 110 outlets for the radio, coffee pot , etc. Not to mention a separate circuit for the new fridge ......

Time to call it a day

Yes, I know -pictures! Tomorrow.....maybe......
