I ended up having to take my Casita in to a shop to have the leak repaired. You guys here did a great job of trying to help me do it myself, but when I realized I was going to have to remove the electrical box under the bench, I knew it was too much for me. So I took it to the RV shop who installed my brake controller and they fixed the leak and several other minor things that had been bugging me and which I'd not had time to fix. And if you're in the Charlotte NC area and need your RV serviced, I highly recommend Terrell Camping Center. They did a lot of work for me and the charges were very low.

At any rate, I brought the Casita home today to prepare for our first long trip of the year. It felt great to have it back in tip top shape, and pulling it with my new truck!

Bob,
Isn't it a great feeling to know you are prepared for a good trip? There is nothing like having all the little details accomplished and being ready to "get out of Dodge"!
Congratulations and have a wonderful camping season

Hi Ron - your Casita with that new pickup sure makes a nice outfit. Lots of happy camping in your future, eh? One of the hardest 'grownup' lessons to learn is respecting one's limitations and asking for assistance from someone who knows. Can't think of anything nicer than a repair facility whose services earn your confidence (AND a nice recommendation). Where are you headed on that first long trip? Safe journeys - L 'n D

Hey. Yeah those folk at Terrell are top notch.

We're taking the Casita down to Florida. We'll stay mainly at Manatee Springs State Park. We're planning on canoeing the Suwannee River and snorkeling in some of the first magnitude springs there.

Ahhhh, Manatee Springs SP is a WONDERFUL place. We were there two winters ago and look forward to a return visit one of these days. Travel safe and have a terrific trip. And don't forget ... pictures! L 'n D
