Ok, Ok, I know this is crazy , but also kinda cool.......

Here is a wood stove for tenting, which, if someone was really adventuresome, could use in a trailer. You'd need lots of space around it, keep the fire low (twigs?)....
Run the little pipe out a window? More sanely.....set it up outdoors, a nice contained fire for cooking and keeping warm!
Cool Tools

All that aside, this is a interesting web site with some trailer friendly ideas. It has a good description of using the Ecotemp L5 portable water heater under the 'backpacking' catagory. There's also a 'living on the road' category, not specifically for RVing but some interesting items with good descriptions.

Thanks Dan! I was not totally facetious with the wood stove idea. We live with wood heat at home and love it. The trailer you show (use to be yours?) is small but has the space to put up a protective shield. Some small trailers, like our 13' Burro, don't have that room. The web site I referred to has a listing of "very small wood stoves" under the homesteading category, more substantial like yours. People frequently put wood stoves in boats and there are marine wood stoves. The stove I linked to is meant for tent camping so can be put up & taken down. If not room in the trailer would make a nice outdoor cookstove.

That stove must of really heated up that little trailer!!

There is a couple threads in here on wood stoves. Do a search.... great stuff for reviewing.

Cool Tools, and "tent" wood heaters are news sources I don't recall seeing in here so thanx again for that.

Tried finding those threads earlier as I remember reading them and thought I'd add this stove to them, but didn't find them, will try again. I'm not thinking of putting a stove in our Burro, but if someone finds the threads could link them here for others.

Not a new idea and not a bad idea. Sheep herders wagons have wood stoves, and I still see them out with the sheep.

Ah yes, my husband's great uncles were Basque sheep herders, when I show him my 'find', which does look similar to some of the ones in pictures of sheep herder's trailers, he'll want one.

They also remind me of little stoves sherpas use.

Donna, that other stove is very nifty! Thanks for finding those older threads.

I am not actually in the market for a wood stove, just wanted to share that web site. Though getting a wood stove would be an easier decision than deciding on a FG trailer!
