I think you've caught the trailer on its shake-down run from GA to CA and back. No weight is given, so I've asked.

The local trailer shop has done frame work for a guy in Mich. that makes custom wooden teardrop trailers. Can't find a picture online. Never asked for the company or persons name. Just a casual conversation when having some trailer work specd. out.

Those would sure look great behind a classic P/U truck.

Not really that eggy, the front and back are rounded but the side edges aren't rounded enough. If that's an egg, so is the Heartland MPG and the R-Pod.

That said, the wood look is attractive. I wonder for how long, though?

Sure hope that trailer has good brakes!

That '29 Model A had mechanical brakes that were VERY good (by 1929 standards) but with a heavy trailer on the back and mechanical brakes with narrow drums all round (not to mention the whopping 41 hp that Henry's new 4 cyl flattie was born with)

The second Cabin Car was built by Rob who is a true craftsman. His first build was a "rebuild" of a Mobile Scout. It too is a work of art. Rob has been in the vintage trailer world for years, is a very knowledgeable and a nice guy too.
