Trailer: 1971 Boler

Ok first post....

Well I was chatting last week with a co-worker about trailers and he was saying that he wanted to buy an old airstream and fix it up. I told him that I would love to get a Boler and fix it up as I have liked these trailers since I was a kid.

Well I popped online to see how much they were going for and everything in my area was 3-4 grand....more than I was willing to spend.

Then I spotted an add for one that needed a little TLC.....$600

Well she is now mine....the TLC that is required is to patch a small hole in the front made by a truck hitch and to weld a broken frame. There was a patch done on the frame already but it broke in another place. (all in the front tongue ) The inside was clean and according to the guy I bought it from he just had the fridge serviced.

The scary part was getting it home....It was located in Calgary Alberta (I am in Edmonton) which is about a 3 hr drive. I brought along my brothers portable MIG welder and tacked on some bracing.
Took it slow and made it home ok.

July 1 I had my father inlaw over (he is a welder by trade) and we stripped of all of the old repairs and did a propper patch job (the rest of the frame looked fine)

She is now good to go and we are heading out for our first camping weekend this week. My wife although she was very sceptical at first is taking quite a liking to the little critter. My son who loves Thomas the Tank Engine has christined her "Annie" (those of you who have seen the show will get the reference)

Will post pics when I get the chance

Looking forward to getting this thing fixed up.

Note: it has a Tedco fridge....cant find any info on these anywhere....any clue how to get it started? I cant seem to find a pilot button to get the gas flowing so I can get it started.
