Yesterday I got the trailer ready for the Labor Day Weekend.
Check gas appliances -Check!
Check plumbin - Check!
Got fridge - Check!
Got food - Check!
Got clothes - Check!
Got money Box...What!
Yup I am now camping at my Brother-in-laws yard where I have been selling campfire wood all summer in hopes to stop any thievery that may happen over the long weekend.
Last night was quiet and I came home to do a few chores and I will be back out there around 9AM to tend the wood pile and enjoy the traffic going up and down the road.
I am sure this isn't what camping is suppose to be like but at least I am outside and we will make the best of it by having a fire in a fire pit tonight and cooking outside.
Will post some photos when I get back on Thursday

Well, got back from the working Camping trip today and even though it was a holiday weekend and got COLD, The camp-fire wood didn't sell as well as exepcted.
I stayed out there 4 days and 3 nights and only sold about 200 blds of wood.
I also burned 4 blds myself in the evenings.
I can not beleive how much wood some people will burn, I know of one customer who came back time and time again and in all he got 25 blds just for 2 nights. I do believe I could see his fire from the campsite 1/4 down the road
He is my camper set up at my brother-in-laws.
I have got about 1/2 cord of dry pine that I will leave out there untill the true end of the camping season but I imagine I wont sell much.

I'm surprised you didn't get any offers on the "office" while you were camped there.

I had one or two who said it was the neatest thing they ever saw.
I am surpirzed I sold as much wood as I did concidering the sign I had out there.
The first night I was out there, I had that wood sign with Black paint on it, Well it had rained and the black paint and old wood blended in so my Brother-in-law gave me some white paint and I put that on over the Black and it showed up real good but in the morning, the paint had ran so bad from being on wet wood it looked like ghost writing on holloween
I flipped sandwich board later that day and repainted the $2.00 a bld sign.
