Trailer: 1988 16 ft Scamp Deluxe

As most of you know, there's a new company in Tennessee renting out Scamps...and we're all wishing them luck. I was just over on YahooScampers and found this link and wanted to share the video clip with y'all
Quote:
As many of you know we have been opened for business for 2 whole weeks.
Bill decided it was time to try something new--why not go for a world
record!? Several of our Kampers have been rented out but while all of
them were together all clean and shiny...
A clip was shown on a local TV station. Several friends took pictures
and videos, too. There is a clip on You Tube if you would like to take
a look.
You can cut and paste

Wow!!

Very cool! Do those Scamps have hitches on the bumpers? They must have.

I got to see the trailers in person Saturday. I was driving up the road looking for a garage sale when I saw the line of trailers. I stopped in to chat about fiberglass trailers. Several people stopped in to look while I was there.
The trailers appeared to be in real good condition. All of the propane has been removed but they have roof A/C with heat strips, a microwave and an ice box. They also have a porta-potti tucked under the front bunks.
The company will also rent any of the necessary camping gear anyone might want such as cords, chairs etc.

That's what it looks like to me too...wonder if it's a "rescue" trailer. Since it's a rental outfit, they probably go rescue folks who have major trailer problems.... so I'm thinking it's full of parts. How many parts does a broken fiberglass trailer need???

And I noticed that the next to last trailer was a 16' while the rest of the trailers were 13'

They need enough frames to fix those that they cracked pulling a dozen Scamps in a row...

Thanks, Donna!
BTW, No Eggs were cracked or harmed in any way.
Bill collected all our eggs including the 16 footer and the utility trailer.
Our original plan was to have our business office in the 16 and our supplies in the utility trailer. Luckily, we located a great business site right among all the RV Sales companies on the Bristol Highway. I refer to it as The Farm since it is where we have our Kiddee Kamper eggs.

Judy, you should contact General Motors and tell them that you have a great idea for a commercial for their truck line!!
Who knows - they might just go for it! Thanks for sharing the pics! Cute as a button!
