Yay!! The natioal parks are open

Just made reservation for Acadia national Park for the weekend, should be nice, foliage is still good and weather looks good too!

I'm hoping that they stay open. It's getting close to Death Valley time, and other places south.

The nonsense should be over, but I wouldn't count on it.

I'm heading to the foliage show on Talimena Drive (ARK/OK) next week.

Did anyone take notice that signs were in place within 24 hours of the shutdown? The last shutdown was 17 years ago, yet the government managed to procure the funds, issued purchase orders, and distribute over 5,000 signs, all within 24 hours. Amazingly display of efficiency for a group who can not agree.!!!

It all rolls down hill, especially when the brakes fail.

Perhaps there needs to be a new brake controller........LOL

Happy winter camping.

I hope they were smart enough to save the signs, cause I have a feeling that 3 months from now they will be putting them backup .I hate paying twice for the same thing!

(I should know better at my age then to watch Meet The Press on Sunday mornings)
