CRAP happens, when you least expect it. You can't think of everything. At least the people are OK.

I took my 17 through a bank drive thru in Grants Pass Oregon.

It was kinda fun. I could see I had plenty of clearance, but it was still a "squeaky" imagined experience.

Actually, it didn't look to me like the guy was trying to get to the ATM, just drive around the whole thing (which is possibly why he was going fast) -- Certainly not a good structural design on the bank roof!

You're right, Pete. The stillphotos show that more clearly.

It never ceases to amaze me how [b]W-I-D-E I have to steer to make the trailer track where I want it to go.

The roof stayed together. It was the [b]pillars that failed.

Totally Agreed! That structure should have demolished that flimsy stickie, not the other way around! It looks the columns weren't bolted down at all!
I'm glad it appears that there weren't other vehicles under it!

Jay Leno used the clip on the Tonight Show on Wednesday July 16 (I believe it was then, I have been looking at some of the shows off the shows web site today).

Picking nits, if the roof didn't stay up, then it wasn't a good structural design -- But I include the supports as part of the roof since it is freestanding and not part of the building -- There're going to be a lot of lawyers involved in sorting this out -- Was the 5W 'trespassing' and just using the lot as a turnaround? Bank on wrong side if 5W has an ATM card... Architect in deep doo-doo for designing structure with no diagonal support.
