Basically a tent trailer, but boy is it gorgeous! I noticed no weight given (I downloaded the brochure.)

bobbie...i read that the dry weight was 1050 kg... and the loaded weight as 1350 kgs.

It looks gorgeous, I give it that. But that is where it ends. It is, after all, a TENT TRAILER. With all the merits of a tent trailer. And the PRICE is PRIME, and the weight is not too light really... Wow, for that price you would be able to get two really nice brand new Escape trailers.... And obviously I much rather have an Escape or other fiberglass trailer, no tent stuff to fuss with....

Hi: All...We had the worst camping experience with a popup tent trailer!!! 3 small kids 2 adults a 1 horrendous thunderstorm in the night. Waiting in line for a dryer at the local Scrub 'n Suds probably put me off camping for 25yrs. We didn't try again till the kids were teens and in a borrowed 40' MoHo. My wifes take on that was it lacked a dishwasher. But Honey... I'm here!!!

I like the built in compass so that you can orient the front to face south.

No way José! I had it with dealing with wet canvas. Sure the 'Opera' looks different, but it is nothing but a fancy tent trailer. I bought an egg to get away from having to re-set up at home at the first dry day so the canvas don't mildew. No thank you. I will keep my Trillium at 1/3 the price, and 3/4 the weight.

Alf, you reminded me of the last trip in our tent trailer when my boys were little.
We were at Eagle Lake in California and a hail storm came up. It was like being in a 55 gallon drum and someone beating on it with a 2x4.
About 5 am the next morning we were woke up to a banging on the door.
I opened the door and their was my 5 year old, with tears in his eyes asking, why did you throw me out of the trailer daddy?? It's funny now but I felt like a real bum at the time.
He was sleeping next to the canvass, rolled over and slid out of the trailer.
We waited till the canvass dry, loaded up, went home and sold the trailer.

Hi: Perry J...Turn about is fair play!!! You reminded me we did give the popup a second chance. My wife put our youngest daughter down for an afternoon nap and after a while there was this terrible screaming!!! Seems she rolled over and was hanging by her chin with her body dangling outside!!! That was really it for the popup tent trailer. "Glass is CLASS".

It's not just a tent trailer, Folks ... it's a "suite in nature"

It does look sharp but I don't see anyone with enough money to spend on this actually roadtripping and camping.
