Good Day All.
On this forum we have discussed many times vehicle tow ratings and the size of the units we are towing.I would like folks to post their vehicle tow ratings and what they are towing.

NOTE--This is not to be used to shoot someone down.

The reason I want to know is that it seems to be that other countries can pull just as much weight and have a much smaller tow vehicles.

I tow my Boler which weights 3500lbs ready to camp with a GMC Sonoma stick shift 4.3 liter motor.

Thank You

Good day to you Chester;

Still working on the re-fit here and will hopefully do some camping this year!!!

1973 Boler American that is currently a shell, no tanks even, but plan to add 12v/120v Fridge and small A/C. So loaded for camping I plan to stay relatively light and obviously plan to get it weighed. Nevertheless reckoning on coming in with an adequate margin for TV which is a Volvo 240 wagon which per Volvo's specs the 85% limit is 1161 kg. or 2550 lbs.

Might I ask, what do you have that adds up to 3500 lbs? And Happy Holidays BTW.

I tow my Casita 17ft SD with the 63 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible 389 v8 automatic with added Trans cooler and added 2700 cfm radiator cooling fan. I also use a single arm equilizer and a anti sway bar.

We also use the 1936 Chevrolet two door sedan 350cu engine 400 turbo transmission
with added cooler and radiator cooling fan.

I don't think that you will find towing capacities for either of my tow vehicles. But we have been from coast to coast and border to border with fiberglass rigs in tow and have had no problems. (Knock on Fiberglass)

Harv in Colo.
