1972 Havasu Fiberglass Camper for Sale

We purchased this camper from a couple in Sacramento for $2950. They had told us everything worked and we bought it before we saw it. When we got it home, found out most of the interior cabinetry was rotted, nothing worked, fridge was a rusted mess, and no batteries, wiring, or anything else. We gutted and redesigned most of the interior. We added the following brand new items: 1) Dometic refrigerator ($650 on sale); 2) new 100-watt solar system mounted on top, 3) new flooring, 4) new PD-4045 controller, 5) inverter, 6) high-density foam custom seat cushions, 7) new custom blinds, 8) two deep cycle 6-volt batteries, 9) wiring throughout. We kept the original 3-burner stove. We used a composting bucket and it works better than I imagined! Easy and no odor. Everything works great -- we took it on two trips, one to Oregon and one to Idaho. The bed is super comfortable and you can tow this with just about any vehicle, though we recommend a 6-cylinder for ease up mountains. The weight is around 1,000 lbs, and it is 13' long (outside) and about 9' long inside. We are also including new headliner material which we paid $450 for. We are asking $5800 but will consider serious offers. This is a one-of-a-kind vintage gem - just needs a little TLC.

My husband says there are electric brakes on the hubs, but we've never felt we needed to use them as the trailer is so light. I tried to attach a picture here but couldn't get it to work, so have added a picture of the kitchen area on the ad. Hope this helps!

Sorry -- I tried 5 times to add the picture but this site is one of the most difficult I've ever tried to navigate. I sent them a message and they've been helpful so far, so hopefully tomorrow they will help me upload the picture. The kitchen area is the best in my opinion and I can't believe I forgot to upload the picture in the original ad. Thanks for your interest and patience!
