I've bought this 1977
Scamp 13 as a project from a forum member in VA last Summer. The rear floor was bad, which I replaced. All outside holes are filled in and sanded smooth with
fiberglass. Side
windows are replaced with new
windows. It was painted with Rustoleum marine primer, and Rustoleum marine
paint; battleship gray. All
lights were replaced with new
LED lights. Tabs are fiberglassed in to the inside to attach cabinets without having holes, thus reduces the chance of
leaks. Belly band was removed and the resealed using marine caulking.
There are a lot of parts that I will throw in as well:
-ac/dc 12v/120v
fridge Avanti 1.7 cu. ft. Superconductor Mini
Refrigerator in Stainless Steel-SHP1702SS
-New steel tongue box
-WFCO WF-8725-PB Black 25 Amp Power Center
-30amp inlet port
-Rubber window seal (20ft or so)
-New car speakers
-New car stereo with bluetooth
-Frame is good
-Probably needs a new
axle. This is the original
axle from 1977
-Full set of mattress covers
-Front bench
-Rear benches missing
-Front cabinet need
paint and then can be installed in the rear. Tabs already in place and cutouts done for stereo and speakers. 12V wires already in place.
-Table
-Door is in good shape
-Spare tire
The trailer was recently inspected and I have a clear NC
title.
I was planning on renovating this camper, but plans changed. Someone else can finish this project. Located in Mebane, NC, close to the interstate.
