1977 Scamp Project

Good Day,

I have a 1977 Scamp 13 project that I have back-burnered for a few years due to a couple moves and a growing family. It is a frame off restoration. It's to the point where it is ready to be reassembled once the bodywork and paint are done. Off the top of my head, here's what's been done:
  • Replaced axle with new 2200lb Flexiride torsion with electric brakes and converted to trailing arm configuration
  • Reinforced, ground and painted frame with help from professional welder
  • Replaced main floor with 3/4" PT plywood
  • Reinforced, cleaned, sanded, primed and painted all interior modules
  • Cleaned / primed and painted insulation
  • Made new cabinet doors with birch ply / edge banding, new hardware
  • Cut new fabric cushion covers, yet to be sewn
Parts / supplies that I've purchased include:
  • Interlux Brightside prep, primer and white paint
  • Large roof vent (escape hatch style)
  • Water supply hatch
  • Exterior access storage hatch
  • Sheet of laminate for countertop
  • Ikea bins for closet
  • Black edge trim for bottom of shell and door
  • TrafficMaster Allure flooring

The previous owner had started the fiberglass work to repair the top of the shell. Finishing it as-is would leave a bump where each patch is. I was planning on grinding it off and starting fresh. I have sourced replacement seals for all of the jalouise windows but haven’t pulled the trigger on ordering them yet. I’ve pulled apart the inner/outer door skins to rebuild as the core was wet. It will need replacement hardware such as door hinges / handles, bunk posts, rock shield hardware, etc. All of this is available on the Scamp parts site.
Here is a link to pictures; I will take additional ones on request:

I’m evaluating my list of projects and am curious if anyone would be interested in taking this one off my hands as-is. If not, I plan on finally finishing it over the winter. It is located just outside of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada. I have the ownership / papers.

Please reply for more info or PM with offers.

Your asking price is fine with us. Is it still for sale? Hoping to hear from you very soon. Looking for a good winter project and need a shelter. We got soaked in our tent this weekend. Merilyn
