We bought this a couple years ago from a wonderful forum member who'd done all the refurb.
We're moving out West this summer and have decided to sell it as we'd rather not move it. We'll definitely get a different
Scamp when we settle down next year.
Previous owner wrote the following two years ago - still accurate today:
"This trailer had been completely renovated in 2007 (by myself and have pics of the whole process). The only part of this trailer that is original is the windows, body, and frame. New axle, interior, exterior paint, wheels, tires, etc. were all new as of 2007. ... Overall, the camper isn't perfect. The paint job was done professionally; however, as these little trailers flex with the road (as you may already know), some of the rivots/screws have popped thru - nothing major - but you can tell there is a small defect in a area of the paint. Also, the awning got taken by the wind a few years back and left a small scar on the door."
Kansas trailer. No
title. Not required here if trailer is under 2k pounds. I had it weighed in the
fall and it was 1450 lbs empty and dry. If your state requires a
VIN I believe you can go to your DMV and Highway Patrol and get a number assigned.
Overall it's a good, fun reliable trailer and our family has loved it. If I were to keep it I'd redo some corner trim pieces on the interior and finish the simple reupholster job we started.
Also included: screen porch room thing that I've never used and also the
awning (not pictured).
$4500.
