Scamp campers are held together by pop-rivets covered by a white plastic button-cap. As they age and deteriorate, they need to be replaced. Some of the rivets on this camper were loose and leaking, so we replaced all exterior rivets and caps with original equipment from Scamp. Some of the caps were missing or deteriorated from the sun and weather. The caps fit over the rivets and seal rain water out. This was general maintenance that needed to be done.

The couch converts to bunk beds. The couch back comes up and is supported by poles. You can check the specifications for the size on Scamps web site. All parts for the bunks are working and included.

So this is a layout 4 I'm thinking? The reason I'm asking about the bed size is that my '05 Scamp 13 has the smaller bed, it's just a bit larger than a twin. Would this 16' definitely have the full size bed?

Yes and no. This is a layout 4 and the bed is the same size as the one in the 13'er, about 45"x76". At least for now, the 54" 'big bed' is only available in late model 13' standards and all deluxe (wood interior) models.

The weight would be approximately 2,000 pounds.
