put away for the winter

Hi, I do still have this camper and it is still for sale, but it's now in my barn for the winter and not easily gotten out. I will re-post in the spring. In the meantime, if someone really wants to check it out you can, but it might be difficult to extricate from the barn without a fair amount of heavy shoveling.
Happy Holidays everyone!

Definitely interested

We are down in NJ,, we would be very interested and could ride up to your area when Spring starts to melt things. I am nearing retirement and a Scamp is part of our plan. We almost purchased one down her in NJ however it lacked a bathroom. Please let us know if and when it becomes available in the Spring.

Hi, I was wondering why you are selling and if you bought this 13' new. I too have been looking at these small eggshells and was wondering what part of NH are you. Are you close to the Lebanon area?

Thanks! wmin

Hi, I’m selling it because life has changed a bit and I am not using it much anymore. We are located near Keene New Hampshire. I bought the scamp in January of 2011. Happy to answer any questions you may have. It’s a great camper for one person. I would not recommend it for two due to the small bed size and small area of floor space inside.

While many couples seem to handle the small 44 inch bed just fine, I am with you, its really best for one person. BTW, the standard bed size in the 16 foot Scamp is also 44 inches wide. The deluxe 16 has the 54 inch bed as does the "big bed" Scamp 13.

So lots of small beds out there on molded trailers with couples using them. The smaller vintage trailers tend to have small beds too.

IMHO, the longer the trip, the more irritating a small bed becomes. What might be fine over a weekend, might not be so enjoyable for a month long adventure. Yet I met a couple on year two full timing in their Trillium 1300, 46 inch wide bed, no bathroom. They were loving it!

Thank you Doughlas,

This information is good. I travel through Keene rather often, Holidays etc. to visit family in Rindge. What would be the best to contact you? I will give my email for further exchange of info.
