That is the approximate dry weight according to Casita.

We read that the"pre-2010" 17' foot weighed less than the new casitas.
Appears that we did not have accurate information.
We were interested in your trailer, thinking it was less than 2000 lbs.

A 2006 17' Casita is going to weigh in around 32-3300#s with roughly 400# TW. The builders numbers are of an empty rolling shell .

The 2000s were 300 to 400 lbs. lighter. Of course,the Standard (no bath) model is aprox. 450 lbs lighter.

Mine is the same year & model as yours but without an awning. Using the factory weight statement is like using NADA for a real world value of FG TTs. You may be surprised if you really ran yours across a scale just to see the difference.

Do you know where would one be able to weigh a Casita? There is something on line if you check "Real weights of Casitas and other trailers" very interesting.
