2009 Scamp FP4 for sale $10,500

I am selling my 2009 16' Floor Plan 4 Scamp Standard for $10,500. All systems checked and working. The awning has a broken hinge and so that is not currently working. Other than that it is in great shape.

All lamp bulbs replaced with LEDs.

I had a $400 custom stainless steel box built to house two 220AH 6V golf cart batteries which is bolted on the 'V' up front. This interferes with mounting the propane bottle however, so I carry that in the bed of my truck. If you do not want this box and the two batteries I will remove the box (and batteries) and replace with a regular deep cycle battery, and mount the propane bottle back on the V where it was.

I also have two 100 W RENOGY 100 Watt Monocrystalline solar panels that go with the package. These are not permanently mounted to the Scamp, they sit on the ground at the end of a 40(ish) foot 12g wire. All wired in using Renogy MC4 branch connectors, and ready to provide as much as 200 Watts / hour depending on location and sun exposure.

If you make an advance non-refundable $500 deposit to confirm you will buy when I get there, I will tow it to you anywhere within 600 miles of my home (area code 28612), for 25c / mile for my gas.

Photos will go up tomorrow.

This is a great package deal, freshly washed, cleaned and ready to go. I have enjoyed the unit. Now it can be yours.

Hi John, as far as the awning, is the broken hinge something that can be easily repaired or does it need a new awning? If it can be repaired, do you have any idea how much that would cost? Also, does your scamp have a bathroom? Thanks

It does have the bathroom.

As for the awning, I will do some research on that. There is a hinge on each side, joining the two leg pieces. That hinge broke one one side IIRC. I would guess that the manufacturer has parts that can be purchased.

This egg is in really good shape. It is a 2009, I am the second owner, I purchased it in July of 2013. As you know, fiberglass just never wears out and so it is pretty much spotless.

I lived in it in a state park in Lake Jordan, Durham NC where I was a camp host for about 6 months. What an experience that was! Peace and quiet!

Is the scamp still available

Hi, John just saw your advert and read the strings of email regarding the hinge. Any update on the hinge?

John, Is the trailer still available for sale? and if so, is it available to view?
a couple of other questions what is the dry weight of the camper; can the solar panels be mounted on the unit and I see where someone asked about air conditioning, does it have it or not and what about the heater. Thanks BO

It is still for sale, and it is available for viewing. No AC. One of the solar panels could mount on the roof. I haven't tried, nor actually looked but I think there is room. It has the propane heater.

Trailer Weights in the Real World

The link above is a set of actual weights "as camped in", taken at campgrounds where they were having meetings. My unit is like #37 I think, side bath. That is NOT the weight of my unit actual unit, just someone who owned one and had it weighed full of their stuff.
