For Sale: 1974 Amerigo FG-16 Go retro!

For Sale my 1974 Amerigo FG-16.

Just hook up and go!
This well cared and maintained 16 foot fiberglass camper is ready for camping this weekend. You'll be the talk of the campground.

I am the 2nd owner of this camper, its perfect for a couple or small family. We pull it easily with our Ford Flex.

We'll include the portable AC unit we bought that works great and will keep you cool on the those hot summer evenings. As you'll see from the pictures the AC unit is kept in the closet. We removed the closet door for that reason, but it still have the door.

We replaced the original Dometic Fridge with a dorm style one, but I still have the original fridge and manual, which I'll also include. I believe the Dometic fridge will work after some repair. I choose to just buy a new fridge instead of finding someone to repair the Dometic.

We put a mattress in the back for a better nights sleep but still have all the cushions to convert it back into the seats with dining table. We'll include the mattress or remove it ...your choice!

There's dual propane tanks with cover, stove works great. The oven is missing a part so it does not work properly.

There's an awing that comes with it. You can see it from the picture. It's pretty easy to set up, we'll give you a tutorial.

Let's see what else..... I have the original bill of sale from March 1974 and original manual. I have receipts and service notes from what I can assume is all work that's ever been done to it.

We've stored it in a barn out of the elements.

I'd love to answer any of your questions. Post here or send me a private message. My asking price is $4500.

Where are you located?

Quite interesting, my boy and I have been looking for something in this price range and this looks promising if within a day's drive of central Illinois... Ed

Amerigo...a good layout for us, though we eliminated the gaucho beds and went to straight mattresses front and rear. Front at 28" is cot-sized, Paul handles it fine. I got the 32" wide bed with two permanent seats making a U shape at the back. Both serve as daybeds/couches as well. We use a folding table with a checkerboard drawn on it with a paint pen.

A unique layout we definitely appreciate. Amerigos are a little rare.

Too bad this seller isn't responding. Oh, well, maybe he will.

Congrats to both the seller and buyer, hopefully we'll see the new owner post up on their purchase!
