I don't think Scamps were made in the 60's. It seems there would be a lot of difficulties registering a trailer without a title.

Is there a serial number on it? I doubt it is a Scamp if it was made in the 60's. Scamp trailer business started in 1972. I think they were making Bolers before they started making their own brand. An employee mentioned that when i was there last week. Maybe that's what it is.

No Title = Trouble or Stolen or ?. Why do people still buy and sell with out a Title?

No pics in the ad also sends up major red flag's for me. And for him to say he will send them seems like a SCAM to get your email address.

I declined buying a scamp w no title. The owner came to realize the problem on his hands. He applied for a title from the state (MI) and amazingly MI issued one to him. We then took up the sale again and I bought it WITH title. This slowed things down a bit but it was the right way to go!

Don't be sorry Shadow56. It is good to post ads so those looking can find them. The problem is with people selling and buying without a Title. It can cause so many problems. I have heard of so many horror stories of when people buy with out a Title and then try to get one and find out the Camper was stolen. So the Police came and get it from you and you are out all the hard earned cash you paid for it. And you are investigated to see if you were the one that stole it.

Just my thoughts. Be Smart People, if it sounds to good to be true it probably is and I would run like hell.
