They do look similar. I like the fact that Oliver's factory is 6 hours from the house and their trailers already come with just about everything. I would add the kingdome, solar and extra batteries.

Well, Carolyn and I dropped by to see the Olivers this afternoon. It's going to take Larry an hour to wipe up all the drool! They are fantastic; but out of the price range for this cheapskate.

The only thing I didn't like were all the mirrors. Every cabinet door is a mirror. I don't like looking at myself that much.

The 17' sold while I was there and there were others looking at the 2014s. Maybe if I win the lottery but I'm so cheap I won't even buy a ticket. Guess my chances of winning are pretty slim.

Oliver Demo Units Discounted

I read somewhere that they will replace the mirrors if you don't want them. I'm a vampire so they won't bother me! :-)

If this were August, I would be all over that 22' boondocker.

August is nearly 5 months away. A lot of good camping days between now and then.

Orlen, I agree with that. You actually have a choice in the color of your cabinet doors. I chose black, it compliments the black on the fridge door (which also could be changed). You also have several choices in flooring and awning colors.

I have to use that time to downsize 42 years of sticks and bricks living. I think I have enough stuff around here to sell to pay for most of a new Oliver with all the goodies!

Thank you to whoever bought the 17'. I looked at it and is a nice little unit. It was very tempting for this impulse shopper. Now I don't have to worry that the poor little trailer doesn't have a good home and it isn't up to me to give it one.

Out of curiosity I check on the Escape website about pricing and options. An Escape 21 with their 2015 price increase, custom fee if you are bringing it into the USA, and their option pricing of items that are standard on an Ollie comes to $38,000.00 USD.
So yes, as far as pricing goes they are very close.

Now you've done it- since the Oliver's double shell doesn't even exist as an option for the Escape, price equalization will require an increase in Oliver's price!

Buy now before they come to their senses....

If I had any sense, I'd be on my way to AZ right now with a bucket of cash!
