Could you please tell me if there is enough space to sit up in the bed? I saw a scamp 5th wheel at a rally recently, and it looked like an average sized adult could not sit up in the bed, but I believe they had replaced with a thick mattress. It was close. I'm about 5'8". Thanks!

That's a good question.
I am 5'10" and I just went out and sat in mine. There was about 5" of clearance between the top of my head and the roof. So I would say yes you can sit up in it.
