1984 u-haul

I am getting ready to sell my 1984 13' U-HAUL travel trailer. Everything is original but I need the plastic top for the top mount evaporator cool, made by playcool. Does anyone have an idea where I can get one? Tks, Tom

You'll have to find someone that has replaced their swamp cooler with a standard vent or fan/vent. I did, but gave away the cover a few months ago. Is yours missing, or just damaged.

I sold mine on eBay when I couldn't give it away. Keep and eye out here and on eBay.

Many of us installed a Fantastic fan in place of the swamp cooler. You can get one for about $150 and probably get your money back on sale. The swamp coolers are not of much use in any but a very dry climate.

Yes I agree, I do live in a very dry climate and I does work great! without plugging in to a a/c source. I will think about the fan if I cannot find the cover. Tks. Tom

Is yours fixable, Use fiberglass resin and cloth. Mine had a couple cracks that I fixed before I sent it on to the new owner.
