Sorry about the wrong product number...just went to the shop and checked; it should be 08361.
I'm only familiar with the urethane product, which I've used in various applications other than body-work for the last 20 years. Good stuff.
I would guess that, so long as the silicone-based sealant is paintable, it would be nice having it the same color.......I appreciate that. [If it's not paint-able, I'm thinking it would be hard to build up or modify in any way later on.]
Generally speaking, I've found 3M products to be over-priced, but good quality, so I tend to default to them whenever I'm in doubt.
