ac/dc/propane fridge

i just had elec work done on my 07 casita FD 17. the battery had been hooked up wrong when shop #1 replaced it and melted a bunch of wires from "the outlet back".

shop #2 replaced the melted wires and as far as i can tell-without plugging in most lights and all 3 fans work.

one light -the one up on the left when you walk in...fridge is on the other side of that wall - doesnt work.

also-i am used to the fridge automatically going on to DC unless i turn it off. it wont go on now.

does this mean there are more wires melted that they didnt find?

could the light that doesnt work just need a bulb?

i'm afraid to plug in until i know if the wiring was done correctly.

the ac and microwave dont go on either but i dont think they run on DC

on the casita site i saw a post that says dc fridge needs #8 wire...could it be they used the wrong wire?

Does your refrigerator have electronic controls ? Sometimes when wires shorts out they create an arcing fault or line voltage is introduced into the low voltage circuits which can damage or destroy electronic equipment . I would check for a blown fuse , make sure you have 12 VDC at the refrigerator and see if the refrigerator operates on 120 VAC or propane

Your microwave & Ac are most probable AC only.
Light fixture. The bulb may be out on the fixture try taking the bulb out of a fixture you know is working and try it in the fixture that is not.

Have you checked the manual you downloaded to see how to make sure your fridge is set to Auto mode?
