I am looking for pics and instructions on installing a 5000 BTU window unit AC in the sliding window of our Scamp over the table and bench.

Please reply to my e-mail: John2488[at]aol.com

Thanks

HERE is how Fredrick installed one in his Fiber Stream.
I did something similar for my Scamp, but didn't document it so well.

I am new to the Scamp thing ( I hope I'm not jinxing the sale... I am buying it on tues) but would there be a better way to install an a/c other that cutting a hole? The Scamp that I will be picking up is a 1993 13" which I don't think has sliding windows. Thanks

I am just placing a small unit in the window as needed, once I get the camper set up. When I don't need it, it stays tucked under the bed. These little units are very inexpensive and lightweight and it keeps the Burro very cool.

AC installation and repair

In hot summer, many of people recommend calling a AC professional to install or repair a new AC unit in their home.Sometimes in the summer , you have a big air conditioning problem which can not be fixed by yourself. That instant you need to call an AC expert to check the problem and repair the AC unit to keep your home cool in the very hot climate for your better comfort.
