Hello, we live in Ontario, Canada. I've been wanting to get some insurance on our surfside. I'm just wondering who you are insured through? Is there a special insurance company which is familiar with these travel trailers?

Also what should we consider...collision etc.

We have a rider on our auto insurance policy. Talk to your agent and he/she should be able to provide you with whatever coverage you require.

Depending on the type of insurance you want, you may need to get an appraisal done on the trailer. You should have some coverage under your home policy and some under your auto policy as it is without the extra. But the extra is always nice.

Jim, can I ask what the extra rider is?
What it covers and what it costs?

Hi,
its like a 100 bucks a year for me to add it on the auto insurance. I don't have a home insurance, so I haven't got it added there!
