Just finished wire brushing and repainting the tongue on the 81 13 Scamp.

Total time invested start to finish: 1hr (not including drying time between coats)
Cost of materials:$3.99
Value: Priceless

It's nice to be finally be almost done with the interior and have the Scamper functional so we can pay attention to some of the outside stuff now.

Looks very nice! We need to repaint ours too. What kind of paint did you use?

My 13' Scamp got the $150 electric tongue jack (Camping World). Love it. Also I put a swivel wheel on the crank jack. Its the same jack as yours but the crank smacked my knuckels on the propane tank. So I sawed out a 3" from section from the middle and welded it back together.
I like being able to roll into position and drop the electric jack and swing the crank wheel away.

Looks good Greg!

I'm interested seeing what plug you have on the front of your trailer for the wiring harness and what does the logo or sticker or plate above it say?

Roy

Hey Jim, that setup sounds pretty awesome on the jack setup. Got any pics?

Roy, 7pin round on the harness. You can see it laying on the ground in the second photo.
The lil placard where the wiring enters the Scamp says basically that it is for 12V direct connect only and don't plug it into 110.

It's just like your jack only it has a wheel. The power jack goes through the big front hole in the center of the tongue.
