Anyone heard of an Air-Flow

new on these boards...TIA for your help.
I am in the market for a trailer. Been dreaming of a Boler.

Recently saw a 1976 Air-Flow. I liked the look of it, inside and out.
But I really dont know much about the brand.

Any one out there know of these fiberglass beauties

Air-Flow ... Can't say that I have. I would love to see a picture of it.

Since this forum started several years ago, many of the old, rare ones have resurfaced. Is it molded fiberglass? Does it look kinda like a boler?

Air Flow, air flow...hummm, I THINK we had a brief discussion about this brand, I've searched and can't find any info...was it pre-hack how lame my memory is, I'm THINKING it is similar in build as an Award trailer??? This is going to bug me now..... Yep, sure would like to see pictures

ent]Aer-flo I think made in Pembroke or Renfrew or Arnprior. I had asked about them as one is for sale near Powassan, Ontario.

You know I've just spent several tries to get the pics into a reply. There has to be an easier way. I do what the attachments tell me but no pics.They are gifs from my walmart albums.

Paddy, I assume you are referring to the trailer you saw and posted about (complete with photos) in Aerflow ? fiberglass trailer., What is this. I added a new response in that topic, but I don't have any new information.

Ya know, I really thought that I had heard of it. Even remembered that it was spelled differently. I did a quick search, but didn't have the time to follow through so I assumed it was just another one of those moments in time that I just thought I remembered. I hate that.

I was looking for something else this morning, and ran across where I had saved it. Went to post it and found you had all discovered the old posting. Thanks!

The windows are nice and big.

It is a fiberglass trailer. Apparently Air-Flow is the brand. Written right on the side...just like that Air-Flow.

It's a 1976. But not books etc. with it.
I'll try to give the photos a try if I go see it.

Then you have to click "Add This Attachment" to get our system to accept the address that's in your browse window.

I went to see this trailer last week and know for sure that it is an AER-FLO as you may be able to see in one of the attached photos. It appears to have more flat front surface than the 17' Boler sitting beside it , and it's tall which would likely make it difficult to tow with a 4 cylinder tug with any headwind . I didn't measure the width but it appears as wide as the 17' Boler and the corner radius is smaller. The interior layout is a little unusual. There doesn't appear to be any overhead storage cabinets, and it has an L-shaped front kitchen(no bunk). The propane line is disconnected near the tank, and it looks like it might only have 110V fridge because I didn't see an external vent for 3-way style. One advantage it could have is a longer bed for tall people because of the width.

The 17' Boler has hairline cracks at bottom front edges but on brief visual inspection seemed to need only cosmetic TLC. I didn't test any of the systems and I didn'tcrawl under to look at tanks(usually damaged by stones). The asking price is CDN$6,500.00

The Boler appears to be a rear-gaucho, with water heater. If designated in the same system as mine, this would be a B1700RGH (like mine); however, given differences in graphics, I doubt this is a 1979 Vanguard unit - perhaps it is from Earlton (especially likely given the location).

I think small cracks near the notches in the body skirt around the frame are common, because if the frame twists under any stress, these areas bind against the frame - normally the body rests on the edge of the plywood floor only. If those are the only cracks, my guess is that this is not a problem.

I bought and sold a 17' Boler almost identical to this last August. I doubled my money and sold it for substantially less than the price on this one, so I thought the cracks were worth mentioning. I didn't want someone driving a long distance to look based on my photos, and find it didn't look as good as the photos. It's difficult to see detail when posting digital photos of the size allowed. I had to zoom in on the AER-FLO photo because it didn't show properly on the larger rear photo. Unfortunately I didn't look for the Boler spec sheet to see what year or where it was manufactured, but you're right it is a rear gaucho(no upper bunk cushions) and likely it was manufactured just north a bit at Earlton. With some negotiation on price and a bit of TLC I think it could be a nice trailer. We were going to tow our L'il Bigfoot with our new Freestar van on this mini holiday but decided not to because of the chance of snow. There was about 1 1/2" overnight in Sundridge so we probably did the right thing. We got 24 MPG without the trailer in winter conditions which I was happy with.
