So, someone that has applied Verglas how does what Kevin is going thru compare to applying Vertglas?

Price seems just a bit cheaper than Vertglas, but not a lot.
Do you need four coats with Vertglas?
Ease of Application of Vertglas?
How often do you need to reapply Vertglas?

Anything else?
Maybe, comparison photos of Vertglas application so we can see the difference?

The May 2007 issue of Practical Sailor has a follow-up article comparing Poli Glow and Vertglas 3 years after their application.

For the money this is the BEST you can get. Great shine,No fumes, easy application(Do NOT put on in the sun)and easy clean up. From chalk white to GLOSS white in 4 coats.

Kevin, did your Scamp have any stubborn stains? If so, was the Poli Glow cleaner able to remove them?

I used navel jelly for the bad rust stains. (Works GREAT, leave on for 20 minuates then wash off) The Poli Glow prep soap and scrub pad will take out a lot of the other stains. I will have to wait and see how the Poli Glow holds up after a few years.
I wonder if I could put a good coat of wax on top of the Poli Glow , to protect the fiberglass better?

So would Poli Glow seal a mural? Seems like it would. Just considering.....

Bonnie Yes
But you would have to do the whole trailer. Because this stuff is very shiney after 4 coats.

by the way, Donna, those mules made an awful mess in my lawn! Spring is here so will try to do the borax thing again and get some photos this weekend. does not sound much like camping weather here.
