Archived manuals

Several years ago I accessed a section here where I was able to download a copy of the original instruction and assembly manual that came with the early ‘80s vintage Burro campers. I went back to look for it today to put a digital copy on my iPad, but for the life of me, I can’t find it. Is that content still available, and if yes how do I get to it?

TIA, Froggie

go here and type BURRO in the search window: Fiberglass RV - Document Center - Search

I did not know these assembly manuals were there.. this is interesting reading.

Thanks, gordon2. That's exactly what I was looking for. Now if I can figure out how to make a file that my iPad will accept, I'll be all set. I'm trying to get my iPad to be as much of my go-to source as possible. It seems like I'm taking up too much of my camper space with electronics... I'm going to try and "wean myself off" from as much of it as I can. Thanks again for your help.

Regards,
Froggie

Part I at least is a PDF file and so very compatible with multiple OSs and this app should work to read the file:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/adob...469337564?mt=8
You should only need to download the file(s) and transfer to the ipad for viewing.

But I would not be surprised to see some problem with Apple products. I have made a few attempts to live happily with Apple products and every time its been an epic fail.

One of them is. But there are multiple files and (it looks like) two manuals (in three parts) for two different years, along with some bonus material. That is why I suggested the search function which yields this result:

If you follow the link provided it will take you to a 1993 Burro Assembly manual. The OP has a 1983 Burro. He asked for the assembly manual. It looks like a good match to me.

That's true, Byron... in fact if you look again, you'll notice that I was the one who uploaded it! Now if I could just figure out why it was that I couldn't get back to those pages without begging for help!

Froggie

I'm glad you found it.

Happy camping.

Charlie, I run Pages on my iPad. It does a decent job of converting files in other formats so they can be edited in Pages. Then it will export them as one of several file formats. It's not a free app, but it's not expensive, either. (Not like buying a full-blown editing program for a computer, anyway.) Good luck with it!
