I did search for the answer first. How high above the door of my 13ft Boler do I install an awning rail? I have asked at RV centres and I receive different info.
Thanks somebody!

The one on our LoveBug worked great , we installed the awning rail just at the point that it rolled over onto the horizontal part of the roof.

This picture is not as clear as the one I tried first but it was too large!

On my Trillium it's pretty clear where the transition from vertical to horizontal is and that's where the awning rail is placed. Maybe a good way for you to determine it is to get a couple of friends to hold the legs in place when you set up the awning on flat ground. Then (with legs full extended) see where the awning would sit on the trailer so there is a decent 2" drop to the front of trailer for rain run off.

Thanks everyone...

Next question would be rivets or bolts? My boler has both all over the place.

What are you going to hang on that awning rack? If it is just a slide-in awning then a couple of inches above the door will do. If you are goung to attach a bag awning then i would suggest that you place it as high as possible to make sure that you have clearance over the door when the awning is enclosed in the bag.
Mine is about 2 1/2 inches over the door and if I want a different awning I will have to raise it.
