Here I have been fretting having to replace my L400, due to having no keys.

Went by my local locksmith, $5 and 5 minutes later I had a new pair. You cannot get any more simple than that...

Not a problem. I just saw on the web two L400 locks for sale, one for $599.99 and the other for $300.00 OMG !! Lee

Too bad it has become harder and harder to find a real locksmith as in one who can smith a lock or repair one from basic materials

But there is hope for us all in that becoming a "maker" is a popular thing to do. More people are once again actually learning to make and fix things.
