Bathroom cleaning tricks and secrets?

We have a Scamp 5th wheel with the side bathroom. Because it's so small, it tends to get scuff marks from shoes on the non-shiny wall (facing the toilet). Any good way to deal with these? Also, that beige part of the toilet--the part below the bowl, seat and lid--is so hard to clean because of its texture. Anybody have any good tricks and secrets to share? Thanks.

If I tell you how little I know about this, it won't be a secret. Small brush for pebble grain or spattercoat surface. Eschew abrasive cleaners. Bleach removes the pigment from dirt. Sometimes a spray furniture wax (Pledge) or liquid car polish (Turtle Wax Ice) puts a barrier between dirt and the surface and makes the dirt easier to lift. Laquer thinner removes Magic Marker but also paint. Bestine and Goop remove goop. WIndex removes blood. The last sounds silly until you've had a hole in the screen and let in 50 billion skeeters.

Cheri, I have had success with a Magic Eraser on the textured wall.

I am not clear in regards to the "that beige part of the toilet--the part below the bowl, seat and lid" - are you referring to the black water holding tank? The outside of mine is smooth are you referring to the inside? If so put bag or so of ice into the holding tank and drive around.

Might that be a typo?

And yes, the part of the toilet I was referring to is the black water tank (why didn't I think of that?), and the problem is the pebbly surface on its outside. Very hard to keep clean; but I think the brush will work well, maybe rinsed down with the shower.
Thanks for your help!

Well, somehow part of my message didn't make it. I was saying I am unfamiliar with "spattergoat finish" and wonder if that is a typo?

Carol, thanks for reminding me about the Magic Eraser. I don't know what is in those, but they are amazing.

It just seemed like it fit in with all the other "animal" names I've been learning for surface coverings in campers: rat fur, elephant hide . . . why not spattergoat???

I think it means rolling on the floor laughing out loud but I don't know where she got the cute animation

The animated figure which appears to be rolling on the floor laughing is the fabled spattergoat of camper legend. It hatches from an egg previously finished with spattergoat and spreads oh I don't know how.

Somehow the animation doesn't come through on my iPad (using the Fiberglass RV app). I think those scattergoat spores got into it when we last had the camper out. Oh dear. Does vinegar work for cleaning that up?

Hi: Cheri in MN... We always have a container of Chlorox Wipes to take care of the small "Spattergoat". My aim is to keep cleaning to a minimum!!!
Magic Erasers are..."Magic" too.
