Thanks so much for posting this video. (I love everything from the Long, Long Honeymoon) It's about time for us to re-pack the bearings on our Scamp for the first time. I'd like to know if this is a do-it-yourself job. If I want to hire someone to do it, where do I go? Can I have an auto tire mechanic do it or do I have to go to a trailer specialist?

I usually pay to have it done. Les Schwab or another tire store should be able to do it.

Okay, I'll admit that I watched it without audio while watching TV, but didn't they end without reinstalling the bearings? Who cares if you insect and regrease if you don't put the trailer back together?

The Dexter Axle maintenance manual clearly explains how to repack - and reinstall - bearings.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

Hi: BrianB-P...That really "Bugs" me too. I hate having anything "Insected" and not put back together. Alf
