Can anyone tell me the size of the bed in a 16' Casita. Length and width, maximum.
I thought it was a "full" size bed but am told it may be smaller.

In our '84 Casita (16 ft) the bed length is 75", the width where the bed meets the adjoining cabinetry is 45", and our mattress oozes out another inch in the aisle area for 46".

Hello,

I am trying to find out if the length of the back bed in the newer Casita models is the same as for the Scamp? I'm guessing both models are made from essentially the same molds. I see the above post listing the length as 75", by Jeanne and Steve. Did this change at all for the newer models or did it remain the same?

Thanks,

I just went out to double check our Casita's bed measurements and discovered that the length is actually 76" instead of the 75" I reported earlier. Sorry for the error!

Only the delux model of Scamp 16' has the 54" wide bed and I think it standard for double bed size (except for the curve of the trailer) the other Scamps hav 46" wide beds I think. I know nothing about Casita. Dotty

Oh yeah! I can't believe how much bigger mine looks compared to the standard models. But, it's a trade-off. I have little to no counter space, so have to be creative when it comes to fixing sandwiches, etc.

Gee, that's the main reason we changed from 16' Scamp to 17' Casita. If I'd known that, I might have looked there too. Oh well, I like 'em both.

my new to me 17 foot Burro supposedly has a king size bed. Thats what the website says, I don't beleive them. I'd say it looks more like a queen or full thats oversized.

I am 5 foot 1!

Is this what irony is?

Hi: Welcome to the wide world of Trailers... Boy you "Biggie" Trailer owners that can't tell a King from a Queen...and then you want to take your irony along to press the sheets...sounds like too much work for me Alf S. North shore of Lake Erie
