Belly Band trim on a Hunter Compact II can it be replaced?

Fellow Campers with more projects than time... Hopefully, I will be able to attach a picture of the trim. It has a center channel of really friable plastic that sits in the center track of aluminum. There are pieces that are broken out and I would like to replace the plastic center but don't know what that piece is called. Any help would be appreciated.

Our channel looks a lot like yours and we happened to order a white belly band rather than black. It is actually light gray. Don't know if you can use the Escape version or not. Guess you need measurements.

Those inserts are available at most RV supply stores.

That's often called "Screw Strip Cover" and comes in several widths, thicknesses and even colors (colors are mostly on-line).

Thank you for reading between the lines. I realized that what i was looking to replace is the insert not the whole belly band. Off to the internet for some rv shopping. Does that inser look flat in the package then get the bumper shape as it is slid into the rails?

It doesn't really just "slide" into the channel. There are slightly contoured edges that are a little thinner than the base material and you pinch it into a "U" shape and it pops into the upper lower channels to lock it in place. When done, it is tension curved on the outside, that's what keeps it in place. If it wants to lay flat it's to narrow and you will need a wider material.

If you put it on with the wrong aside out ,it can pop out later. Cut off a small sample and see which way works best. In looking at a flat piece the edges will point slightly UP when the outside is UP.

Start at a door and work you way around the trailer. If you get a 50' roll you can do it in one piece.

Here is a pic of what it looks like flat (R), with the outside surface UP, and how you pinch it into a "U" shape (L) for inserting into the channel. You can see how the edges fit into the slots.
