Bi-fold Screen Door Screen Replacement

I'm having some difficulty in how to remove my bi-fold screen door so I can replace the screen. Replacing the screen is not a problem, but getting screen panels out so I can lay them on flat surface to replace the is.

Has anybody removed and re-installed a bi-fold screen door?

Have you tried call the mfg of your trailer ( assuming it was a factory install)

It's Scamp that I bought new. Two emails and no answer. If I don't get an answer here I call them on Monday.

If yours is anything like mine, there is a spring loaded pin at the top of the screen door that fits into a plastic piece with a hole in it. With a knife or similar tool, you can press down on that spring loaded pin and it will release from the plastic piece and you can then pull the door toward you and lift it, releasing the bottom pin from the hole it is in.

We replaced our screen with the door hung in place as well. I had my husband stand on the outside with a piece of wood and hold it against the frame when I was pushing the screen into place. It added stability and made it easy to do.
