I just got my Trillium back from a local body shop and I'm giddy with happiness. Two holes repaired. One on the upper rear passenger side and the second on the lower front driver side. As can be seen, the repair and color match are nearly perfect. While I was at it, I had the lower front "gravel garded". Cost? About $650US.

It's a '78. I had put off repairs for years 'cause I had been told that it would be impossible to match the color of the (by now) faded gelcoat and that the only solution was a complete repaint or accept the color mismatch. Eventually, the damage began to get worse and "spider web" such that I was forced to repair the damage even if it met cosmetic compromises. I was fortunate to find a very good body shop. I didn't have to do a complete repaint, just the corners. The color match and blending were superb. The gravel guard is a spray-on that is about as thick as a very thick trashbag. The corners were getting pitted from road gravel. I'll have a better evaluation after my next Florida trip.

Looks like a quality job and you got a it done at a very reasonable price. You should be happy.
