c-rail beading for awning in a bag

Hello, If anyone is looking to replace the plastic beading that attaches to the awning bag, that then slides into the metal c-rail on Bolers and other trailers, please let me know.

I have 18 extra feet of improved beading, which is enough for 2 bags. The improved beading is a heavy duty material around a flexible, round tubing. It could be sewn to the edge of a trap too, if you wanted to hand-make an awning.

I had an awning repair shop remove the old one plastic one that was coming apart and sew the new one on the edge.

Looks like this picture:

Let me know if you are interested. $10 for 9 feet that fits a 13 foot Boler.

Thanks, Jamie

Oops, forgot to mention I am in Washington. I could check at the post office on shipping rates.

Hi there, Thanks for the interest in the beading. I shipped a piece to CA for $6, but it is 3x that to go to Canada. Probably cost prohibitive for you.
My second piece is also taken.

However, I purchased it from Perfect Fit-Macdonald, Inc. in Seattle. The website is www.perfectfit.com. The cost was $3 per yard plus tax. I'd recommend that someone in Canada purchase a roll and parcel it out if there's high demand. The official name is 8.5mm white keder rail insert.

I had an awning repair shop remove the old beading and sew it on a Trimline bag. It's flexible and durable. Fits in the c-rail very easy. He also replaced the crummy old metal zipper with a larger plastic one that won't get stuck. $125 repair for both.

Thanks, Jamie
